Community Defibrillator

We are excited to announce our partnership with the Welsh Ambulance Service and Circuit.uk on the installation of a community defibrillator outside our main office in Murray Street, Llanelli. This system will be available 24/7 for anyone who may need emergency intervention.

While we hope there will never be the need to the use the system, early intervention can be the difference in saving a persons life.

Nick Ozzati from the Welsh Ambulance Service commented “With every out of hospital cardiac arrest, minutes are vital in the chain of survival, by increasing the amount of public access defibrillators and getting early defibrillation this increases a persons chance of survival. When looking at a location to redeploy a defibrillator, Gomer Williams welcomed the idea to become guardians for the defibrillator on www. thecircuit.uk as well as kindly funding the 24/7 accessible cabinet and fitting of it outside their premises to support the community when a defibrillator is required”.
